We recently built a custom home with M.D.S. Homes and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the beginning, after walking through one of their model homes, we were impressed by the quality and design. That first impression held true throughout our entire building process.
What really set M.D.S. apart was how customized the experience was from start to finish. Morgan and the entire M.D.S. team worked closely with us on everything—from site selection and building design to the smallest interior details. They listened to our needs and wants and made sure our home reflected exactly what we had envisioned. Brooke was incredible to work with as we selected finishings and furniture. She has a great eye for design and helped turn our house into a home we can truly enjoy. Her guidance also saved us from making costly mistakes in the process.
We also appreciated the transparency when it came to budget. M.D.S. was upfront about costs, provided realistic allotments that fit the level of home we wanted to build, and helped us make informed decisions about where to save and where to invest in upgrades. There were no surprises when we closed on the home—our final cost was exactly what we expected.
The project timeline was another highlight. They provided a detailed schedule that outlined when each trade would be working on the home, and they stuck to it. We had budgeted a year for the build, and we moved in the exact week promised in our contract. That kind of reliability made a huge difference for our peace of mind.
Now that we’ve been living in the home for six months, we can say the quality is everything we hoped for. Before closing, the M.D.S. team thoroughly walked through every aspect of the house, completing final touch-ups. There were very few issues to address—much fewer than I would have expected on a new build—and they were all handled promptly.
Building with M.D.S. was not only a great experience, but we also gained close friends along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering building a custom home. And if our family’s needs ever change, we wouldn’t hesitate to build with M.D.S. again.
